New Saleen 351 Mustang Announced with 700 Horsepower – 2012 L.A
Saleen will fit five-spoke 20×9 and 20×10-inch wheels front and rear, respectively, with suspension modifications incorporated to ensure that handling isn’t sacrificed in the name of straight-line speed. A carbon-fiber body kit might improve aerodynamics, but we know for sure that it gives the Saleen street cred – especially toward the rear with the F1-inspired brake light set into the rear diffuser.
Pricing is not yet announced, but Saleen says that production will begin in January 2013, with approximately 100-150 351 Mustangs built during the first year of production. Get more from the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show at our comprehensive auto show page.
